This project was made possible through a donation to Rummel High School from the Palmisano Foundation. Haas Landscape Studio designed the landscape, developed the budget, and managed the bid process. Working with Green Keepers Landscape, we helped bring the project to life on time and on budget.

Some of the main design challenges were circulation, dividing the courtyard into distinct spaces, and creating a garden that would work from all sides. We introduced focal points for both sides of the courtyard: one side was designed for faculty use and quiet contemplation, while the other uses pavers to create a sturdier surface for students.
